Georgia's credentials include:
Five years previous experience as a Veterinary Technician.
Has been training dogs since 1982. Became an Instructor, and established her own training classes in January of 1986. HDTC students have
successfully trained their own dogs (of various breeds) for companionship, and for competition in numerous advanced titles, national rankings, class wins & placements, High-In-Trials, and Dog World Awards.
Former Breeder and Trainer of the Champion, Obedience, Agility & Flyball-Titled THAVERN GREAT DANES. Georgia now shares her home with her HAVENLEA BORDER COLLIES (and her Jack Russell Terrier)--that she trains, and competes with, in Obedience, Agility, Flyball, Herding & Conformation.
Award-winning dog writer, whose articles have been published in newspapers and magazines - locally and internationally. Member of the Dog Writers Association of America.
Active in education and rescue through her work with national breed clubs and local humane organizations. Founder and Director of the Border Collie Foundation.
Endorsed by the National Association of Dog Obedience Instructors. Member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.
